| Bio: | Friends Policy Friend me - I dare you! Translated that means, you can friend me whenever and whyever you want. You don't have to ask my permission, I'm easy that way. You can also de-friend me for whatever reason you want. I won't be offended. In turn, I generally friend based on what I want to read, not on who's writing it or if they have friended me. I can say, if Everquest, WOW or those other on-line RPGs eat your LJ and all you're posting is screen caps of your 157 level ninja troll … I'll probably de-friend you because, well, I'm not interested in that. My Journal Policy Millions of folks could be reading my stuff right now! So, as far as I'm concerned, LJ is a public venue. The things I put in it aren't big secrets. Mostly, I write about my thoughts, opinions and that sort of thing; especially about sex, gender, and other uncomfortable subjects. I like sex, I like to write about it, talk about it, and so on - so, yeah, not for kiddies. I don't think that everyone agrees with me (though they should) and you don't have to pretend you do when you respond to my posts (if you do). Generally, I'm more likely to respond to a disagreement if you actually have *reasons* - arguments, theories of your own, some thought process I can follow about why you think I'm talking out my ass this time. If you just say "You're a stupid bigoted idiot." Well, there's not a lot to say in response except, how nice for you. I have a fairly tough skin. I like to write fiction of a variety of types, most everything I write has some sort of adult content, whether it's violence, sex or complicated topics. Some of them I post here, most either goes to my website or to a few archives. Usually, everything I write for public consumption gets to my website … sooner or later. I've been told that my technical writing skills aren't the best and all I've go to say to that is … phhhbbt. I sell my writing - for *real* money - so there. Well, sometimes. About Me Well, I'm not to excited about the idea of someday attracting a 'net stalker or something so I keep my 'net life and my 'real' life somewhat separate. Which means, I use a pseudonym (duh!) for all my fanfic writing and all my 'net activities. So, you're not getting pictures of my tattoos or my ass anytime soon. Yes, that means you, weird guy who IM'ed me out of the blue and asked for my picture. Aside from that… I'm no spring chicken. I'm white, poor, and trying to make a go of it as a freelance writer (laugh now). I've been living with my partner for over 10, rather rocky, years but we seem to be in a groove right now. I like men, I have liked women in the past though that seems to be a thing of the past. I have pets, I have friends, and I have a few mental problems for which I take happy pills. I function, I have gone to school and hope to do so again. I live on the west coast of the US, was born on the other side, believe in 'psychic' powers but don't believe they're all fun and games, don't believe that homosexuality is genetic :p and believe that having personal freedom also means accepting the consequences of your actions. Which dosen't mean that I don't kick and scream when shit happens. | |
